Confirmation Bias

Confirmation bias clouds the mind

twisting the perception of what’s true

we seek out evidence that supports

ignoring what doesn’t align.

We cling to our beliefs so tightly

brushing off dissenting views

but true understanding comes

when we’re willing to see all sides.

So, let us be open and curious

questioning our own point of view

for, only then can we truly know

the world as it is, not as we wish it to



Confirmation bias can lead us astray

but the pursuit of truth is worth the fight

So, let us be vigilant and humble

embracing the light of new insight.
