On this day of Buddha Purnima,

Let us bow our heads in reverence,

To the great teacher who showed us the way,

To live a life of wisdom and perseverance.

He taught us to let go of attachments,

And find true peace within,

To look within ourselves for answers,

And let go of the world's din.

Buddha showed us the path of compassion,

To treat all living beings with love and care,

To overcome our egos and desires,

And live a life that's fair.

On this auspicious day,

Let us remember Buddha's teachings,

And strive to live a life of mindfulness,

In all our thoughts and doings.
