Ganga

Ganga : During my "Char Dham Yatra" our group walked from Gangotri to Gaumukh - That is the beginning of the Ganga river. The sacred river of our country, that is held by God Shankar on his head. It was brought by king Bhagirath from heaven to earth and today laks of people take a dip in the Holy River Ganga. We were amazed to see it's flow, vastness and magnanimity. I wrote on the Ganga and this was the beginning of my literary journey.

गंगा, मै तेरे प्रेम में पड गयी हूँ ।

जीवन में कुछ पाते हुए ।।

मैने आज तुझे देखा है ।

स्वच्छ बर्फ से पिघलते हुए ।।

एक छोटी बालिकासी हँसती, नाचती ।

घरसे अपने निकलते हुए ।।

मै तेरे साथ ही चली ।

तेरी राह पकडते हुए ।।

तु चल दी, कहीं छुपती छुपाती ।

कहीं विस्तृत और छोटी बनते हुए ।।

और अपने साथ अपनी,

नन्ही सखियोंको लेते हुए ।।
