Burning coal

Climate specialists are in AC comfort

They say burning coal in India is a threat

That markedly upsets our weather

Leaves fields parched, children sadder.

I told them about an old woman

In the village lighting an oven

With coal cinders to warm her house

That left her coughing and in distress.

She was in deep despair

She opened windows to let in fresh air

That improved the ambience totally

And made her breathe normally.

On hearing this, the room doors opened

AC air freshened

Delegates scrambled

To have a sumptuous lunch laid.
