Each month it comes without fail,
A force that seems to prevail.
The cramps and pain that I endure,
Remind me that it's all for sure.
The agony can last for days,
Making me feel lost in a haze.
I try to go about my day,
But the pain just won't go away.
Sometimes it's sharp, sometimes it's dull,
But it always takes its toll.
The pain that comes with my cycle,
Can feel like a cruel and endless trial.
But still I soldier on each month,
Knowing that I'll come out from
The other side, a little stronger,
Ready to face the next one longer.
So to all who share this monthly plight,
Take comfort in the fact we fight,
Against a force that may bring pain,
But will not stop us, once again.
