You are lost, so be it
Don’t try to be the woman who’s written about,
Accept that you are special only to yourself,
To the world you are ordinary
Know that how people connect with each other
Is something you can never be a part of,
Love deeply but beware of your detachment
That looks easy but inside it kills,
Accept that you are not loved,
You will not be loved-
That admiration and liking are incomplete.
Know that no one is waiting to peel the layers off your soul
And still stand by you, want it.
Know that you and your love is misunderstood
For a casual thing when to your heart it is one casualty
Never believe in wanting validation or love-
Only books survive on that concept, not ordinary women like yourself.
Know that when love comes, you shall seek the backdoor
And not belong because it is hardly for you
Open up your heart, lay it on a plate and ask everyone to take a bite
Even those who resist, tell them there’s always some space left in the stomach for dessert
But know that your heart is a poison
And only the daredevil’s can bear to taste it.
Surrender yourself to the loneliness
Accept it as destiny, don’t struggle to be found,
You are lost, so be it.
